Returns, simply.

We don't take chicks back — once a bird is in your brooder, the welfare risk is too high. Everything else has a clear path.

  1. 01 / 03 · Not returnable

    Live chicks

    For animal-welfare and biosecurity reasons we do not accept returns of live birds. Issues are handled under the live-arrival guarantee.

  2. 02 / 03 · 30-day return

    Brooder accessories

    Heat plates, feeders, waterers, thermometers, and brooder kits can be returned in unused, original-packaging condition within thirty days. Return shipping is on the customer.

    Mis-shipments

    If we ship the wrong breed or quantity, that's our error. Email us with your order number and we'll arrange a replacement or refund — no return required.

— Process

How an accessory return works.

  1. Step 01

    Email returns@avorahatch.com with your order number, the item, and the reason. We reply within one business day with a return authorization (RA) number.

  2. Step 02

    Pack the item in its original packaging, write the RA number on the outside, and ship it via your carrier of choice to the address we provide. Keep the tracking number.

  3. Step 03

    When the package arrives we inspect within two business days. If the item is in resalable condition, we refund the original payment method for the item price (shipping is non-refundable).
